3 months have flown by with our sweet Eleanor Bea "EB"!



You giggled for the first time in St. Michaels, and now you love to giggle every night before bed on the changing table. You also have long conversations on the changing table, repeating the sounds that mommy makes, and singing with dad. We think your blue eyes might be here to stay!



You prefer your hands to your pacifier, and we often call you "slobber pot" because you are constantly blowing spit bubbles. You have figured out how to pick up objects, especially the bee and dinosaur toys. You're working on rolling over from your tummy to your back, which you successfully did on the Boppy with Aunt Jenna.

 

You don't love naps, but praise Jesus you sleep well at night. We put you to sleep around 7:00pm, and you sleep until 3:30am or 4:00am. If I put you on my chest after the 6:30am feeding you will sleep until 8:30am. I love your snuggles, so we do this often!


You are quite the traveler, just like your mom and dad! This month you flew from Vero Beach to DC and were an angel until the last 5 minutes when the whole plane knew you were onboard. We also did a family weekend in St. Michaels. Everyone commented on how great of a baby you are! Mommy and daddy agree.

You learned to sit up and crawl. You love chunks of food like watermelon and red pepper, and you light up around friends on the block like Gaia and Lila. Mom is tired from wrapping up KIPP and launching her tutoring business. She will write more in coming months, but for now she wants to play with your beautiful self!

Happy 4 months, Eleanor Bea! You have developed so much the past month and are the most fun to be around. You love your toes - pulling them, eating them, staring at them. All of it!  This month was big for sleep. You slept all the way through the night, and you transitioned to your crib. You love playing in your crib each morning, and you also get super hyped on the changing table before bed. You still don’t love to nap, so praise the Lord for Joni Mitchell. She is your lullaby. Mommy really should have found a happier lullaby.... This month you traveled to Nashville to see family, to Dallas for market, and to Champaign to setup Bella. You did wonderful on the flights besides a few diaper blowouts. Everyone commented how you are “the most beautiful baby.” You love to be on the move, so you’re a fan of traveling.  Love you more than you know!
